HELP US, HELP THEM- Volunteer
“many hands make quick work”
We have openings for both in-person and behind the scenes work for individuals or groups looking to give back and help a rescued equine. See below for further details.
-
Every day the horses at the sanctuary are fed, turned out, have stalls cleaned, buckets filled, hay replenished, and brought back in for the night. Volunteers are welcome daily to provide assistance with the daily care and chores of a full rescue and sanctuary barn. From feeding, cleaning, and/or grooming we have a job for anyone.
-
maintenance and projects on top of daily care are another area of where help is needed. Ideal for groups, we have ground clean up/clearing, fencings, building, or hay pick ups on the list to name a few. General yearly maintenance and keeping the barn and property in tip top shape for safety.
-
Are you a social media influencer? or a videographer? Website updating and maintenance, adoption evaluations, story tellers, bookkeeping. There’s a lot to managing a rescue, reaching out to maximize donations as well as finding the right homes for rescued equines.

Send us a message to schedule your time to volunteer. New helpers will need to schedule their first 2 visits on a weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). Once you’ve completed orientation and at least 6 hours of volunteering, weekday options can be discussed.
